Sydney Business Review is an independent, family-owned newspaper published on the 15th of each month except for January. Publisher is Anne Breen and editor is Peter Breen.
Anne Breen is a former top athlete and swimmer before she became a high school teacher at Tara, Mt Saint Benedicts and Our Lady of Mercy at Parramatta. She joined the award-winning Sydney Business Review as publisher in 1988. In 1996 she received the award as Parramatta region's top businessperson in the Parramatta Chamber of Commerce Regional Business Awards for Excellence. She is a strong supporter of community and charity groups in Sydney and believes it is essential for business to 'give back' to the community.
Her husband Peter has worked for the Sydney Morning Herald, The Australian, Rydge's Business Publications, News limited and overseas. During this period he started several business publications before he went out on his own to start Sydney Business Review in 1988.
Their daughter Katrina is involved heavily in the business as advertising sales person.
